Scottish Water have applied for Planning in Principle (PPiP for the buildings to be demolished and for a residential development to follow
Individuals are encouraged to register on the City of Edinburgh Council Planning Portal with their comments or objections. The deadline for this is 5th August.
It is vital that residents make their own personal submissions in their own words rather that copying from a template, to maximise the impact with the Planning Committee.
Fairmilehead Community Council is a Statutary Consultee for this application and will be submitting their own comments
A public meeting was held on Wed 30th July attracting 62 attendees, comments from which will be used to enhance the topics which FCC members had already identified for our submission .

FCC have published advice for residents as agreed at the public meeting in making their comments on the portal .
We have asked for an extension for residents comments with no response as yet. should the portal refuse to take a submission you should email your comments to planning@edinburgh.gov.uk
